Project Overview
I evaluated the usability and user experience of a website using Nielsen’s Usability Heuristics for User Interface Design. After completing the evaluation, I wrote a design brief proposal and submitted annotated prototypes that indicate the proposed functionality and how it meets the user’s needs/goals. Upon the project manager’s approval (Prof. Malinconico, SNHU) I designed a new website tailored to the target audience, addressing the UX and usability problems using appropriate design principles. Once the redesign was complete, I conducted usability testing and justified the design decisions I made throughout the process.
